Pentastar Aviation is now offering maintenance services at Key Air’s FBO facility at Waterbury-Oxford Airport (OXC) in Connecticut, following signature of an agreement earlier this spring. The company is operating out of a 20,000-sq-ft facility, with room to expand as demand dictates. The new location is Pentastar’s first foray into East Coast operations and joins the company’s facilities in Van Nuys, Calif., and its headquarters location in Waterford, Mich.

Aircraft based at OXC will be offered preferred rates for services performed at both the new location and at Pentastar’s metropolitan Detroit facilities.

“The opening of our new East Coast location in Oxford marks an exciting new chapter for Pentastar as we now comprise coast-to-coast facilities,” said Rob Lewis, CEO of Pentastar Aviation. “Initially we have limited capability. We’ll be doing small repairs and inspections while waiting for FAA approval listing the OXC facility as a satellite repair station under our Pentastar Part 145 repair station certificate,” Lewis told AIN.

“Our focus for the OXC facility is going to be Gulfstreams, Challengers and Falcons,” he added. Lewis anticipates approval this summer.
