ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China, based at Binhai International Airport in Tianjin, claims to be making rapid progress toward becoming a fully functioning business jet aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) center. The company is a joint venture between Swiss-based aviation services provider ExecuJet and China’s Tianjin Haite.

Since forming their alliance in 2010, the partners have been working toward achieving full MRO status. The company’s recent appointment as a Honeywell dealer marked an important milestone in that quest.

“ExecuJet Haite is fully committed to the business jet market in mainland China,” said Graeme Duckworth, managing director of ExecuJet Asia. “The impressive rate at which China’s business aviation sector has grown in the past few years confirms to us that we are right in establishing a modern MRO facility here.”

ExecuJet Haite is currently building a state-of-the-art maintenance facility, scheduled for completion in May. The company reports the facility’s status as a European-approved repair station is well under way, and its Chinese Part 145 application and approval process is at an advanced stage. Once the approvals are in hand and the facility becomes operational, ExecuJet Haite expects formal accreditation as an authorized service center from one or more aircraft OEMs.
