ABACE Set To Stay In Shanghai
Shanghai Airports Authority chairman Nianzu Wu and NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen confirmed that Abace will take place at Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport for at least the next four years.

The Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE) will take place at Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport for at least the next four years, National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) president Ed Bolen said at the show yesterday.

“Shanghai is a great regional hub and attracts people from all over the world,” said Bolen. “Our EBACE and LABACE shows are permanently located at Geneva and São Paolo, which seems to work well for people, and it’s possible that we will do the same with ABACE in Shanghai.”

Shanghai Airports Authority vice president Jing Yiming confirmed that NBAA and SAA had reached an agreement that lasts until 2016 and added that business aviation would play an important role in Shanghai’s future development.
