A San Bernardino, Calif. Superior Court judge dissolved a temporary restraining order against the San Bernardino Airport Authority on Friday, paving the way for the authority to terminate its fueling contract with SBD Airport Services.
Earlier this month, the authority charged the company with failure to perform under the terms of the contract after an aircraft at the Million Air FBO (also operated by SBD Airport Services) was unable to obtain 2,500 gallons of jet-A from the airport’s 150,000-gallon fuel farm due to low supplies. Under the terms of the agreement, the company is required to maintain an adequate supply of fuel at all times. SBD Airport Services has until this afternoon to appeal the decision.
