Canada and the European Union have enacted a bilateral aviation safety agreement, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association announced. According to GAMA president and CEO Pete Bunce, the “structured bilateral cooperation will streamline certification, continued airworthiness and maintenance efforts between all EU member states and Canada.” This reduces redundant regulatory oversight, while simultaneously strengthening international aviation safety cooperation, GAMA said.
