Sheltair inaugurated its latest facility–at Northwest Florida Beaches Airport–last month. The aviation services provider had operated from a temporary trailer at the airport for the past year. The new 5,000-sq-ft executive terminal, built to LEED environmental certification standards, provides an airy nautical-themed passenger lobby, a conference room, a pilot’s lounge with shower, and a flight-planning area. The facility, the only services provider at the airport, also includes 1,680 sq ft of rental office space adjoining the 9,100-sq-ft hangar and more than five acres of parking ramp.
Sheltair has also completed a new hangar complex at its Orlando Executive Airport location. The structure includes a 19,800-sq-ft hangar with an adjoining 2,400 sq ft of office space.
