Aviation maintenance management software developer Mxi Technologies is opening an office in Hong Kong and has named Witono Lukman as managing director. The company cites a growing demand for its Maintenix software throughout the Asia-Pacific region as the reason behind its decision to open the new office. “For more than six years, Mxi Technologies has actively supported the Asia-Pacific region through our corporate office in Sydney and by working directly with customers and various in-region partners to develop a strong market presence,” said Dave Siebel, chairman and CEO. The decision to locate Mxi Technologies’ office in Hong Kong was based on the city’s proximity to all major Asian markets and its role as an aviation and MRO hub for the region. “The establishment of an additional regional office in Hong Kong allows us to build further on this success while responding to increased market momentum for next-generation solutions and offer on-the-ground representation to a growing customer base in Asia,” Siebel said. The Ottawa, Canada-based company also has offices in Amsterdam, Miami, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
