The aviation authority at Tampa International Airport has awarded the 20-year lease of one of its two FBOs, formerly operated by Signature Flight Support, to Landmark Aviation. Landmark edged out competitors Signature, Atlantic and Ross Aviation for the right to operate the facility, which pumps nearly two million gallons of fuel a year and houses approximately 20 aircraft. As part of the agreement, Landmark will be required to pay Signature $2,569,500 for the unamortized portion of a hangar it built on the airport. The facility will change hands in October.
