At least six aviation services providers have expressed interest in taking over management of the FBO at the UK’s Cambridge Airport, according to the airport authorities. The FBO offers extensive business facilities, boardroom options, VIP hospitality and crew rest facilities. The airport’s 6,447-foot runway can accommodate aircraft up to a Boeing 757 or Airbus A320.
“By bringing a fully branded FBO to Cambridge we are aiming to improve efficiency and demonstrate our commitment to providing our business aviation clients with the levels of excellence they expect,” said airport director Archie Garden. The bid process closed last month and the airport’s management expects to name a winner before the NBAA Convention in October.
