Bombardier Aerospace has added four field service representatives and two customer support account managers to cover Europe and South Africa. The appointments bring to 25 the total number of field service reps and customer support account managers supporting business aircraft customers in Europe.
“We currently have more than 585 Bombardier business jets based in Europe, including Russia, and more than 25 Bombardier business jets based in South Africa,” a spokesman for the company told AIN. In the next six months newly hired field service reps will be deployed to France, Eastern Europe and South Africa, while the additional customer support account managers will support operators in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Further boosting its service capacity, the airframer has certified Arab Wings of Amman, Jordan, as a line maintenance facility for the Challenger 604 and 605. AvWest, of Western Australia, was appointed an LMF for the Challenger 604/605 and the Global Express.
