The 11th edition of the annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (Ebace) is set to open on Tuesday in Geneva. Joint organizers EBAA and NBAA expect the event to be 16 percent larger than last year’s and, in terms of the area of booked exhibit space, it could even be the biggest yet with almost 500 exhibitors signed to set up shop at Geneva’s Palexpo center. The Ebace static display will be packed and at least one major airframer is known to be ready to announce a new model by opening day. AIN is also aware of several aircraft order announcements pending, and this will provide further evidence of a European bizav sector taking some tentative steps toward a sustained recovery. You can count on AIN for full coverage in our award-winning EBACE Convention News daily editions to be published in Geneva on May 17, 18 and 19. In addition, AINalerts will be on site at Ebace publishing daily issues from Sunday through Thursday. All the latest show news, as well as video highlights and podcasts, will also be posted on AINonline starting Sunday. And for live event coverage in short form, follow us on Twitter.
