Bombardier has positioned a PartsExpress Challenger 601 at Dubai International Airport to deliver parts, technicians and test equipment to AOG Learjets, Challengers and Globals across the Middle East and into Turkey, Kazakhstan, India and North Africa. Bombardier launched PartsExpress in the U.S. in 2007 and in Europe in 2009. “This move is another building block in Bombardier’s drive to establish a fully integrated support system for its customers in the Middle East and to extend support to its customers wherever they travel,” said Andy Nureddin, v-p of customer services and support at Bombardier Business Aircraft. The service draws from a parts inventory housed in Bombardier’s existing parts depot in Dubai and maintenance specialists from ExecuJet Aviation, its authorized service facility in the Middle East. “The aircraft is designed to deliver full service whether it’s a part or a maintenance technician,” Lanny Schindelmeiser, director of customer response team for Bombardier Business Aircraft, told AIN. “The aircraft is ready to go 24 hours a day, with the crew standing by to load the required items to solve the problem.”
