Colt International is now offering a “turnkey solution” for flight departments that must comply with the European Union emissions trading scheme (EU-ETS). The aviation fuel, flight support and insurance provider said its new Emission Reporting Program will ensure that operators comply with the March 31 deadline to submit verified 2010 emissions data. Its $2,250 program will “record, monitor, error check and safeguard all relevant flight data and then build the proper reports necessary for verification,” Colt said. Colt’s system is designed to be able to collect and report data even if customers are not using it for international trip support. The company’s relationships with several EU-ETS verifiers will also translate into preferential pricing, it added.
