StandardAero continues to focus on strengthening its business aviation capability and commitment. “We’d taken our eye off that mark, but over the past 12 months we’ve done about everything we said we would do to get back on track,” Scott Taylor, senior vice president for business aviation, told AIN. “We’ve invested $500,000 in sprucing up our facilities, particularly the customer offices, and moved the TFE731 MPI back to our Springfield, Illinois facility because our customers told us that’s what they wanted.” The company is now expanding its customer support network by adding four mobile service teams (MST), bringing the total to nine across North America. The newly added teams are located in Little Rock, Ark.; Van Nuys, Calif.; San Jose, Calif.; and Dallas. The MSTs support TFE731, CFE738 and HTF7000 engines and Honeywell auxiliary power units (APUs) and provide airframe maintenance on Falcons, Challengers, Hawkers, Embraers, Learjets, Gulfstreams and Cessnas. In addition to the new MST locations, StandardAero has opened a 24/7 centralized mobile operation center.
