Port City Air will renovate and ­manage multiple hangars at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease, the ­former Pease Air Force Base Strategic Air Command facility in Portsmouth, N.H. Port City Air also operates fixed-wing and rotorcraft maintenance and ­avionics services. So far, Port City Air has ­renovated three of four hangars, now heated and ready for immediate occupancy, and prices are “at an ­attractive price not typically offered at most Northeast locations,” according to the FBO.

Port City Air is investing more than $2 million in capital improvements ­during the next two years, including hangar upgrades and a larger fuel farm. The ­hangars are all large enough to accommodate ­several aircraft; office, maintenance and ­storage space is also available. Portsmouth International has an 11,321-foot-long runway and is an ideal tech stop for transatlantic flights with U.S. Customs available 24/7. Port City Air started as a maintenance facility in 1995, opened an FBO in June 2003 and purchased New Hampshire Helicopters later that year.
