Exuma International Airport will see its first FBO when Odyssey Aviation Bahamas opens a new facility at the airport in Georgetown, Exuma, next March. Odyssey Aviation Bahamas opened satellite handling locations in Georgetown and Treasure Cay, Abaco, late last year, âbut the steady growth of business and the demand for Âconsistent, reliable and reputable service Âmerited Odysseyâs plans for a new Âfacility in Exuma,â according to the company. The new facility will be located next to the Exuma Âairportâs existing parking area. The 2,400-sq-ft FBO terminal will offer Bahamas customs and Âimmigration clearance, wireless Internet access, WSI weather station and a flight-planning room, pilot and passenger lounges, HD Âsatellite TV, coffee, popcorn station, catering cooler, ice machine and on-site dishwashing and laundry facilities. âThe development of a full-service FBO is long overdue in Exuma,â the company stated. âThe facility will be adequately sized and is to be developed using an âIsland Outpostâ themeâopen, airy, colorful, incorporating outdoor seating and resting areas, making the most of the surrounding indigenous and natural foliage.â
