Nexa Advisors and NBAA are working on a new study examining the value of business aviation to small and midsize companies. In August, the association asked companies that use business aircraft to take a 17-question online survey. Nexa developed this survey specifically for private and publicly held companies with less than $1 ­billion in annual sales to help understand their use of business aviation. According to NBAA, the study will analyze the effect of aircraft on enterprise value performance, including the underlying drivers of shareholder value ­creation, such as revenue growth, profit growth, asset efficiency and customer satisfaction, among others. Data from this study is now being used to develop a report that NBAA said will be published before year-end. However, an association official suggested to AIN that the results will be released at the NBAA Convention later this month.
