Honeywell-CAE Training Alliance has begun offering maintenance training courses for technicians in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Barry Lindsten, Honeywell's director of customer publications and training solutions, told AIN it is part of an ongoing program to expand global training offerings. "Customers expressed an interest in seeing more classes conducted regionally in addition to those offered at our Honeywell Training Academy in Phoenix. We're continually looking for global training opportunities to help satisfy customers' needs," he said. New courses offered in Europe include maintenance training for the TPE331 turboprop at DAO Aviation, Roskilde Airport, Copenhagen, Denmark; CFE738 line maintenance and TFE731 line maintenance at Dassault Falcon Service at Paris Le Bourget; and training seminars for the FMZ/NZ2000 flight management system (FMS) and Honeywell Epic FMS, as well as Understanding Weather Radar at CAE's Burgess Hill training center in the UK. Courses are also being offered in Dubai at Emirates-CAE Flight Training; in the Zhuhai Flight Training Center, a joint venture of China Southern Airlines and CAE; and in the CAE Training Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia–a partnership with AirAsia.
