“We are one of the fortunate companies that have been expanding during one of the worst times in our industry,” Dennis Steinbeck, v-p of business development for Avtrak, told AIN. The company offers maintenance management software, consulting and logbook services to corporate aviation. “More than a year ago we began to focus on the market in Mexico. We spent a considerable amount of time there meeting with aircraft operators to acquaint them with our company and the services we offer. Andrew Douglas, our sales manager for the area, has been instrumental in developing relations with many of the operators in the region and we’ve become an approved vendor for the government of Mexico.” The company has established an office at Toluca Airport and intends to add a second representative. “Our growth has been across the company. Last year we relocated our Wichita office to a new, larger location with room to grow,” Steinbeck said. “Our Littleton, Colorado headquarters is at capacity and we are planning to move into a new facility in January at Centennial Airport.”
