Dassault’s Falcon 900LX, the newest member of the Falcon line, has won certification from both the EASA and FAA.

The large-cabin 900LX is based on the 900EX but with enhanced performance and economy. Emphasizing that the trijet burns 35 to 40 percent less fuel than other aircraft in its class, Dassault attributes the improved performance to advanced lightweight structure, a more efficient wing and blended winglets from Aviation Partners. The airplane’s range of 4,750 nm allows nonstop flights between such city pairs as New York and Moscow. Further flight tests are continuing to gain approvals for more advanced operations, such as Category III landing, with target dates scheduled for next year.
