Coming off a record show last year–13,342 visitors, 110 exhibitors and 60 aircraft– organizers of the Latin American Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition are anticipating an even bigger show this year, to be held from August 12 to 14 at Congonhas Airport near downtown São Paulo. Associcão Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG, Brazilian Association of General Aviation) president Francisco Lyra sees the continuing growth as a symbol of ABAG’s commitment to promote and defend the interests of general aviation, not only in Brazil but throughout all of Latin America.

The expansion of the 2010 show reflects that dedication. This year’s show will feature the first Bombardier Latin American Safety Standdown, scheduled for August 11 at the Hilton São Paulo Morumbi Hotel. And on August 13, AeroPodium and ABAG will host the second annual Business Aviation in Latin America (BALA) Summit, with the theme “A Vision for the Future.” For additional information about LABACE and BALA, contact ABAG at +44-20-8123-7072, or visit the Web site at www.abag.org.br, or AeroPodium at +55-21-3717-5652, Web site at www.aeropodium.com.
