The business aviation forum held on June 10 at Teterboro Airport was NBAA’s largest and most successful regional exhibition to date, according to the organizers. Some 1,900 people registered to attend the event, which showcased 90 exhibitors and more than 30 aircraft on the static display, including Embraer’s new Phenom 300 and a Beechjet fitted out with the interior for the Nextant 400Next.
Attendees were given an update on the progress of the industry’s “No Plane, No Gain” initiative by NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen, as well as the chance to attend lectures on the future of aircraft values and the NTSB accident investigation process.
“The enthusiasm surrounding this event is a positive sign that even though business aviation has been confronted by one of the most turbulent periods in recent memory, the industry continues to be driven by passion and professionalism,” said Bolen. “The forum also showed that business aviation is as essential as ever to citizens, companies and communities across the country.”
