Production in 2009 Russian Helicopters last month announced that
its factories produced 183 helicopters last year, an increase of 8.3 percent over the previous year. Of the total, 105 were civil helicopters and nine of those were outfitted in executive configuration. More than 50 percent of the total deliveries were for export. The venerable Mi-8/17 medium twin accounted for 139 deliveries.
