PremiAir, the operator of the London Heliport (also known as Battersea), is to open a new passenger terminal “this spring.” It will replace a 50-year-old building that is to be demolished. The increased ramp space will provide greater capacity at peak times. The new facilities were formally handed over by the builder, Weston Homes, on February 11. PremiAir staff is now moving to a “world-class FBO.” It is directly linked to a five-star hotel that is owned by von Essen Hotels, PremiAir’s sister company.
