The former Mac Dan Aviation FBO at Essex County Airport in Caldwell, N.J., which closed on September 30, has been reopened under the new name Air Bound Aviation. Andy Ferguson, a long-time Essex County aircraft broker, hangar lessor and salesman for Pilatus PC-12 dealer Pro Star Aviation, took over the lease that used to be held by Mac Dan Aviation and reopened the FBO on December 1. Ferguson paid the back rent due the county, signed a long-term lease for the Mac Dan property and hired former Mac Dan general manager Guyon Nelson to manage Air Bound Aviation.
