Chad started his writing career at The Avion,&nbsp;the&nbsp;student newspaper at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, serving as editor-in-chief before graduating with a bachelor's in aeronautical science. After a stint as managing editor at Professional Pilot&nbsp;magazine, he joined&nbsp;AIN in late 1998. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India recently granted type approval for the Dassault Falcon 7X. Falcon 2000s and 900s are already certified in India, and approximately 16 large-cabin Falcons are in service in the country. The first Falcon 7X in India will be delivered this month to Religare Voyages, a New Delhi-based charter firm that already operates a Falcon 2000. Dassault said a dozen other Falcons, including several 7Xs, are currently on order for customers in India.
