Execujet opens in Cape Town
ExecuJet South Africa

ExecuJet South Africa
opened its new FBO at Cape Town International Airport on October 29, in plenty of time to prepare for anticipated high levels of traffic during next year’s 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer contest. ExecuJet opened its Cape Town FBO in 2004, but the existing facility wasn’t large enough to accommodate rapid growth in traffic. The new FBO is parallel to the airport’s main runway and includes 54,000 sq ft of hangar space, 75,000 sq ft of ramp space, VIP lounges, undercover car parking, concierge and secretarial services and a fully equipped conference room. Cost of the new FBO was R250 million ($33.8 million). ExecuJet bases
12 charter aircraft at the Cape Town facility, and it offers maintenance services for local and foreign aircraft operators.
