Mexico’s Heliservicio and Servicio Tecnico Aereo de Mexico (STAM) have selected SkyBooks (Booth No. 2053) maintenance and operations tracking software. Heliservicio services Mexico’s oil and gas industry and operates 40 aircraft that fly more than 4,000 hours per month and transport close to 100,000 passengers. “When complete, Heliservicio will know the precise location of each aircraft, which passengers were carried by leg and distance, fuel quantity by liters, the current maintenance status and meter values of each aircraft and the warranty status of all parts removed,” said SkyBooks COO John Willis. “Furthermore, they will be able to project future part demands by component or by part number for each aircraft in the fleet.” SkyBooks is customizing its software to meet the unique needs of Heliservicio and STAM, including components required for a high-utilization approved alternate inspection program for offshore fleet operations and on-site management in Spanish.
