Jet Aviation Hong Kong was granted Part 145 repair station certification by the FAA, allowing the company to provide maintenance services on U.S.-registered aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, airframe and engine repair, avionics modifications, inspections and defect rectifications. Jet Aviation Hong Kong opened in 2001 to provide charter/management services in Asia and added line maintenance last year for Hong Kong-registered aircraft. Now Jet Aviation Hong Kong holds repair station approvals from the FAA, Hong Kong CAD and Cayman CAACI, and the company can also service aircraft registered in Europe (EASA) and 10 other countries thanks to the approvals held by Jet Aviation’s Singapore maintenance facility. These approvals include Europe (EASA), Aruba, Australia, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Jet Aviation Hong Kong’s maintenance division is led by director of maintenance Nigel Parker. Recent major jobs included a 12/24/36-month inspection on a Gulfstream IV and a B-check on a Boeing BBJ.
