Vector Aerospace’s Helicopter Services Rolls-Royce 250 repair facility in Lewisville, Texas, is consolidating with the Vector Engine Services Atlantic Pratt & Whitney Canada engine repair station in Southlake, Texas, to create a combined engine repair operation. The facilities offer repair station support for the Rolls-Royce 250 and Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, JT15D and PW100. John MacDougall, senior vice president of sales, said that combining the two operations will let the company offer operators decreased turn times and provide better accessibility to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. “The proximity to DFW will aid in expediting the shipping and receiving process,” he said. “We anticipate a smooth transition for the Southlake repair station, and we are assuring customers there should be no interruption to either the Rolls-Royce or Pratt & Whitney engine lines during the transition period, which should be over by the beginning of October.” Vector Aerospace is an independent provider of aviation repairs and overhaul services for gas turbine engines, components and helicopter airframes through facilities in Canada, the U.S. and the UK.
