TAG Aviation has applied to raise the annual limit on aircraft movements at London-area Farnborough Airport from 28,000 to 50,000. The company, which operates the UK airport under a 99-year lease, is also requesting an increase in the limit on movements on weekends and public holidays from 5,000 to 8,900. Last year, TAG won approval to increase weekend movements from 2,500 to 5,000. Rushmoor Borough Council will process the new application by mid-October.
