For the 12th time in as many months Bombardier Aerospace has added a new line maintenance facility (LMF), most recently in Finland. The company has also increased its capability at two existing facilities in Hong Kong and Oregon. Jetflite of Helsinki is Bombardier’s first LMF for Bombardier business aircraft in Finland, providing line maintenance support for Learjets and the Challenger 300, 604, 605 and 850. Operating a 30,000-sq-ft facility with 56 engineers and technicians, Jetflite offers nearly 30 years of maintenance experience with the business aircraft community in the region. Hong Kong’s Metrojet was also appointed an authorized service facility. The company has added maintenance capability for Learjets, Challenger 300s and 600s and Globals. Metrojet operates in a 53,400-sq-ft facility with a staff of 80 maintenance technicians. Global Aviation added Challenger 300 support to the line maintenance services it currently offers for Bombardier business aircraft in Hillsboro, Ore.
