The Direction de la Défense et de la Sécurité Civile (DDSC) of Marseilles, France, has selected StandardAero to provide PW100 and PT6 engine maintenance services. The total contract value for the first six years is expected to be approximately $20 million. A six-year contract extension is possible.
Used for fire suppression, the DDSC fleet is made up of 12 Bombardier CL-415 water bombers, nine S2F Trackers, three Beechcraft King Air 200s and two Dash 8-402MRs. StandardAero will provide a complete maintenance package, including site management and logistics, line maintenance and engine repair and overhaul services.
