Executive charter firm Empire Aviation has started operating a pair of Cessna 208 Grand Caravans on scheduled flights connecting Abu Dhabi International Airport with a new upscale resort on Sir Bani Yas Island in the Arabian Gulf.

The airplane will make the 155-mile flight on Thursdays and Saturdays. The service will also be offered on a charter basis as part of accommodation packages offered by the Desert Islands Resort & Spa.
