Dassault Aviation is close to getting approval for its Falcon 7X aircraft to operate from London City Airport. The airport is just a couple of miles from the UK capital’s financial district and has a 5.5-deg steep approach.

The French trijet will be the largest business aircraft yet to be approved at London City and it will offer the largest combination of routes from the downtown airport. The 7X has been designed for advanced short-field performance and low-speed approaches. Pilots also benefit from its digital flight control system.
