When Gary Bosstick, a frequent charter client, became dissatisfied with the sleeping comfort of the typical business jet seat, he did what any entrepreneur would do: he designed a solution (the JetBed) and formed a company (JetBed) to develop and market it.

The JetBed is designed to fit between two facing club seats and inflates to fit. It weighs about 15 pounds, including the rechargeable cordless pump, foam mattress, Velcro straps to secure it to the seats, and carrying case. Prices start at $3,995.

The Downers Grove, Ill.-based company has already signed an agreement with Cessna to offer the bed as optional original equipment in all of the OEM’s Citation line except the Mustang.
