Averitt Air recently celebrated its new approval as a Learjet authorized service facility (ASF) by hosting a viewing of the Learjet 45 and 60 and a fuselage mockup of the in-development all-composite Learjet 85 at its Nashville International Airport facility in Tennessee. Averitt Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Averitt Express, recently added 10,000 sq ft of hangar space to meet an increasing demand for scheduled and unscheduled warranty and maintenance work in the Southeastern U.S. Averitt Air is currently the only maintenance provider in the area approved as a Learjet ASF, and the company offers refurbishment, modification and maintenance services, including 12-year/12,000-hour inspections as well as fleet management, sales and acquisitions, charter and consulting services. Since 2006, Averitt has been a Bombardier Learjet AOG/line maintenance authorized facility and the company is also ISO 9001:2000 quality system approved, an authorized service facility for Mooney and Piper aircraft and holder of five FAA Diamond maintenance training awards.
