Gulfstream Aerospace yesterday said its midsize G150 received type certificate validation from Transport Canada, allowing operators of the twinjet to register their aircraft in Canada.
“Gulfstream is always looking for ways to enhance the service it offers customers,” said senior vice president of sales and marketing Larry Flynn. “Securing this validation simplifies the registration requirements for G150 operators in Canada, so we’re very appreciative of the Canadian authorities’ assistance in making this happen.”
In addition to Canada, the G150–which entered service in August 2006–has also been certified in Israel, the U.S., Chile, Pakistan, the Philippines, Mexico and Ukraine. In addition, the airplane previously received type certificate validation from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which means it can be registered in any European Union country.
