Swiss-based business aviation service provider Jet Aviation and Vnukovo Invest, co-owner of Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, have signed a memorandum of understanding to form a joint venture that has the goal of significantly expanding Jet Aviation’s operation at Vnukovo next year.
Now providing maintenance services for Bombardier and Gulfstream products in 10,763 sq ft of hangar space at FBO Vnukovo 3, Jet Aviation plans to move into a new 32,827-sq-ft maintenance hangar close to the same FBO. The combined space of the two facilities will allow Jet Aviation to expand its support to other OEMs and their clients. “This is an important step for us to better serve the demanding Russian clientele with our local partner, Vnukovo Invest,” said André Wall, Jet Aviation COO for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
