Dassault Falcon will open a new $6.5 million factory-owned service center at Sorocaba Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, in the fourth quarter, bringing the company’s service-center network to four locations worldwide, with an additional 30 authorized service centers. The 23,000-sq-ft facility will house up to three Falcons. Services available at the facility include line maintenance and A checks. An AOG “go team” will be located at the facility, too, available for mobile maintenance services anywhere in South America. Dassault Falcon will stock parts and special tools for current production Falcons as well as out-of-production Falcon 10, 20 and 50 models. Dassault Falcon has two field service representatives based in Brazil, one of whom is in São Paulo. There will be 22 Falcons based in Brazil by year-end, and Dassault expects that number to exceed 50 in the next three years.
