Global Aviation of Hillsboro, Ore., is now a Bombardier Business Aircraft-authorized AOG/line maintenance facility, strengthening service center coverage on the West Coast. Bombardier’s selection of Global Aviation authorizes the company to offer line maintenance on the Learjet 40, 45 and 60; the Challenger 604 and 605; and the Global series. According to Bombardier, the authorization reflects local Bombardier jet operators’ advocating for Global Aviation’s designation as a service center. Global Aviation now offers maintenance on most business aircraft, including Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker and Pilatus models. The company is housed in a 63,000-sq-ft hangar and is adding another 27,000 sq ft at Portland-Hillsboro Airport. “After a thorough review of the candidate facilities,” said Gary Dolski, director of Bombardier Business Aircraft-authorized service facility management, “Bombardier selected Global Aviation to provide AOG and line maintenance support to Bombardier Business Aircraft in the region. We are looking forward to working with a quality maintenance organization such as Global Aviation.”
