Keystone Helicopter’s engine services division announced that it won Rolls-Royce’s program investment award. This award recognizes Keystone for making the largest investment to improve its contribution to the Model 250 program. Speaking at the awards event, Steve Townes, CEO of Keystone Helicopter and founder of parent company Ranger Aerospace, said, “We are very proud to receive this award. We have invested significantly in our engine division for extensive test-cell renovations, new machine-shop equipment, new coordinate measuring machines and another completely new test cell. We have also added more engines to our loaner support pool. And most of all, we have made a significant investment in land and new operational facilities at our new heliplex under development in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.”
