The Ross Aviation FBO chain acquired Laredo Air Center in Laredo, Texas.
The FBO used to be known as Lacey’s Serv-a-Jet and is the largest on the airport, according to Ross Aviation. It is the company’s ninth major FBO investment, bringing the chain to 13 facilities. The Laredo FBO features newly renovated facilities with 98,000 sq ft of hangar, office and FBO terminal space. Founder Doug Lacey is staying on as general manager. “Adding Laredo to our portfolio of FBOs further expands the Ross Aviation footprint,” said president and CEO Jeff Ross. “We look forward to a long relationship with Doug Lacey, who enjoys a well deserved reputation for real Texas hospitality and service at one of the primary international ports of entry along the U.S./Mexican border.”
