The Drake Group’s FAA certification training programs for managers and engineers involving TC/STC/PMA and TSO categories, previously presented at companies on-site or at Drake’s base in Las Vegas, now are also available on its Web site, company president Robert Honzik announced at NBAA 2002. Conference attendees can learn more about the new program at Booth No. 3636.

Honzik stressed the Drake Web site “has completed 18 months of development and beta testing and will provide users with an economical source of certification training that is easy to use and understand and also is 24/7 from any location. Plus users receive a certificate.”

A user logs onto the site, buys a mini session at a nominal price and proceeds through the 30- to 90-minute session. At the end of the session, the user may take a short test that is graded. After that, the user can download a certificate and a list of key points for future reference. The customer may purchase sessions individually by credit card or buy a subscription via the Internet.   

Companies subscribing to the Web program “can receive summary reports of their employees’ training that include employee names, dates, sessions taken and test results.” The Drake Group also can develop, host and track a company’s unique training program.
