Monaco-based Boutsen Aviation, whose president is former Formula 1 racing driver Thierry Boutsen, will take delivery today (if all goes to plan) of an Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ), which will be outfitted with a Prestige VIP interior by Jet Aviation in Basel, Switzerland. Boutsen Aviation ordered two ACJs on behalf of undisclosed customers last year, and added another order in April this year for an A318 Elite, for delivery in November 2009 to an undisclosed European customer.
Dominique Trinquet, Boutsen Aviation sales director, said that “although the market seems to have slowed down for some agents, we are working hard finalizing the transaction of one Falcon 50, one Falcon 2000, a Citation CJ1 and a King Air C90GT. Next month we will deliver another brand new Piaggio P180 Avanti II and we currently hold seven Avanti II firm orders in our portfolio.”
