You know an aviation convention or airshow has arrived when exhibitors and others start planning months in advance to consummate and announce deals at the event. By this measure, EBACE has not only arrived, it’s here to stay.
Though there’s always some wiggle room in the value of orders announced at any show and a seller can never really count the money until the last payment is safely in the bank, $5 billion in announced orders does earn the EBACE organizers some well-deserved bragging rights.
So here’s a toast to us all: Well done, ladies and gents!
