Wilson Air Center has entered into an agreement with Tunica Air Group to provide a range of maintenance services.

Tunica Air Group will be operating from a 16,000-sq-ft hangar located within the Wilson Air Center complex on Memphis International Airport. The agreement includes on-call maintenance support ranging from routine servicing such as oxygen and tire inflation, to any inbound discrepancies the flight crew has, to engine changes. Scheduled maintenance items can also be accomplished.

It will be a second base of operation for Tunica Air Group, which was formed in September 2006 by a group of six FedEx mechanics. Since that time it has grown to 16 part-time and full-time employees operating out of a 20,000-sq-ft hangar in Tunica, Miss.
