ExecuJet Aviation Group bought a 30,000-sq-ft hangar at Singapore’s Seletar Airport and is offering maintenance and hangar storage at the facility, its first business jet base in Asia. ExecuJet is managing or servicing five jets based at Seletar, two Gulfstream IVs and two GVs and a Bombardier Challenger 604. The company plans to increase its presence in the growing Asia business aviation market, according to Alastair Creighton-Jones, managing director of ExecuJet Australia and in charge of the Asia expansion program. “There is a shortage of hangar facilities in Singapore to accommodate the growing number of business aircraft operating within the region,” he said. Seletar, with a 5,350-foot runway, is being converted from a former military airfield into a business aviation center.
