Colt signs up with Passur
Contract fuel and flight planning/handling company Colt International has signed up to use Megadata’s Passur flight tracking and software services suite.

Contract fuel and flight planning/handling company Colt International has signed up to use Megadata’s Passur flight tracking and software services suite. Colt said it will use Passur to provide “more targeted, customized fuel programs” and “more detailed, precise and timely operational support” for its flight operations customers. Key Passur technologies that Colt will use include the Fuel Portal, which delivers current and historical fuel-purchase information based on customer actions in the past and potential fuel sale information using an uplift algorithm that estimates how much fuel an arriving customer may need. Colt will also use other Passur tools such as its real-time flight tracking system, which uses both FAA aircraft situation display to industry data and Passur’s own network of passive transponder sensors to track aircraft movements, including those that are blocked using the NBAA-managed block aircraft registration request system.
