Rockwell Collins last month gained an STC for its Pro Line 21 IDS (integrated display system) in King Air 200s equipped with SPZ-200 autopilots. Superior Aircraft Maintenance of Medford, Ore., performed the installation, replacing the twin turboprop’s panel with three 8- by 10-inch flat-panel displays, digital weather radar and Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS) server for viewing electronic charts, checklists and other information. IFIS options include XM graphical weather datalink. The Pro Line 21 IDS King Air installation integrates with the aircraft’s existing autopilot and sensors. Other Pro Line 21 IDS STCs owned by Rockwell Collins cover the Falcon 50, Piaggio Avanti and Hawker 800A. Pending STCs include the King Air C90 and Falcon 20.
